Daftax’s music is taking a listener on unexpected journey, filled with a dark sounds, ambient noises, pulsing bass lines and gritty drum loops.
Stefan Vician best known as Daftax, a Dj that comes from western part of Slovakia, born in smaller industrial city Trnava.
His earlier music interest was influenced by early 90’s dance music, particularly sub- genres like techno-punk and electro-house flows. From age of 12, he started to become more interested in non-commercial electronic music, especially industrial techno, hard techno and shranz. Slovakian local artists like Dj Toky, Hogar, Dj Boss and international artists like Dj Rush, Frank Kvitta and Chris Liebing were the ones who played an important role in forming his strong passion for techno.
Daftax’s current source of inspiration comes from techno producers like A.Mochi, Moteka, Slugul, Petter B, Sonate, Abstract Division, Flug, Oscar Mulero, Speedy J, Ben Klock, Slam, JC Laurent, Perc, Drumcell, Niereich and others.
